Attempts at unbecoming in a post-futurist landscape
Disenchanted by imaginations of the future in our contemporaneity, Nguyễn + Transitory ask if the idea of future can still be reimagined today – not as a singular narrative, rather a plural spectrum of futures. This journey takes the form of an immersive audio visual performance in 3 acts accompanied by Katharina Hauke’s abstract visuals that work as a canvas for a possible future for us to imagine.

[DE] Enttäuscht von den Zukunftsentwürfen unserer Zeit fragen Nguyễn + Transitory, ob die Idee der Zukunft heute noch neu gedacht werden kann – nicht als singuläre Erzählung, sondern vielmehr als pluralistisches Spektrum von Zukünften. Begleitet von Katharina Haukes abstrakten Visuals erfolgt diese Reise in Form einer immersiven audiovisuellen Performance in drei Akten. Die Visuals dienen als eine Art Leinwand, auf die der Zuschauer seine Vorstellungen von einer möglichen Zukunft übertragen kann.
